Mashed Potatoes



Ingredients:
Potatoes - 1,2 kg
Milk - 250 ml
Butter - 50 g
Salt


Steps of cooking:
1. Peel the potatoes, cut into large pieces, put them in a saucepan, add cold water and a teaspoon of salt. Water should cover all the potatoes. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and cook for 20-30 minutes until the potatoes become soft. Drain the water.

2. Melt the butter in another saucepan over low heat, add the potatoes and mash it with a spatula or special device. When the oil is completely absorbed, slowly pour in hot milk, all the time stirring the mixture with a wooden spatula. Try it, salt, if necessary.

3. Serve immediately - or keep warm.
