Meatballs in Tomato Sauce
Servings (portions): 4
Ingredients:
carrot - 1
chopped meat - 500 g
onion - 2
rice - 125 g
bay leaf - 4
tomato paste - 2 tbsp
black peppercorns - 6 pieces
ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
sugar - 1 teaspoon
wheat flour - 3 tbsp
salt - taste
Steps of cooking:
1. Boil rice, rinse in cold water.
2. Grate the carrots, cut the onions into cubes.
3. Salt and pepper mince, add half of onions, grated carrots, rice and knead stuffing.
4. With wet hands roll balls, roll in flour and fry.
5. Between the meatballs, fill the remaining onion and fry for a couple of minutes.
6. 0.5 water dilute 2 tablespoons of tomato paste, 3 tablespoons of flour, pour the meatballs. Add spices, sugar and salt.
7. Stew on low heat for 35-40 minutes, then turn off and let stand for 15 minutes.
